  PERTH DOG WALKING
Group dog walking
has become very popular over the last few years.  That popular even the larger companies are now offering this service.
When I first started out in 2011 there wasn't many, but one did grab my attention.  The walker would have around 15 dogs and it was amazing to watch, but I was concerned what were the risk factors for caring for a big group while out in a public space? Walking multiple dogs is not as easy as some may think so please do your research and ask questions on how a group of dogs will be cared for before signing up with the apps that promote nationally or better still stick with the local owner/operators.  There are some fantastic local businesses servicing all areas in Perth, who have been around years, very experienced handling multiple dogs & have the right insurance.
Keeping your dogs safe, reduce risk to your dogs & other park users

will take a maximum 4 dogs.  (depending on dogs sizes & energy levels.  If you see more in the photos, other Aunty's are present with their dogs)

am always mindful of other dogs & pawrents & respect dogs who are on lead

never allow people with other dogs or children to approach (unless known)

never visit popular dog spots in peak times

never take the dogs on bush walks, late spring, summer, early autumn. (snakes & hot).

heavily monitor beach & river walks for blow fish and sea hares (sea hares are deadly)

make sure dogs have time out,  even when swimming or beach frolicking (overheating, salt water poisoning & sand in the gut is serious stuff)

assess areas before dogs are permitted out of vehicle

know locations of vets in each area visited

have an emergency plan if a dog is injured or becomes ill
(hence the trolley in the van, we call it the dog ambulance ;)
